Fundraising Drive
Mountainside Lutheran Church in Linville, NC is an LCMS church that was impacted by Hurricane Helene. There was damage to the building, organ, office space along with infrastructure & access to the building & grounds of the church, camp, and community. They are still in the recovery process. Peace voters have decided to match donations up to $20,000. The drive begins in August 2025 and ends in October 2025. Your donation can be submitted in your weekly offerings or to the church office. Please mark your donation “Mountainside Church Fundraiser”.
Trunk or Treat
Would you like to decorate a vehicle and pass out candy at our annual Trunk or Treat? Join us for a day of treats and lighthearted fun at our annual Trunk or Treat event! October 25th 11am-1pm at our Beecher Campus - 540 Oak Park Ave. (Kid and church friendly decor only1) Registration deadline is Oct. 18th. Christmas Cookie Walk
The Dorcas Society’s Annual Christmas Cookie Walk is a great way to stock up for the Christmas Season. The entire congregation bakes their favorite homemade Christmas cookies!
Confirmation Class
Confirmation Information Meeting and First Class
On Sunday, September 7th following the 2nd service we will have a confirmation information meeting for those interested in Jr. Confirmation instruction this year. The meeting will be held in the North East Corner room of the Beecher Campus School wing. We are scheduled to have our first class on the following Sunday, September 14th following the service.
First Friday Fellowship
Join us for September’s First Friday Fellowship for a Relax, Refresh & Reconnect Dinner!
September 5th, EAGLE LAKE CAMPUS from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.
Beef and chicken hard/soft shell tacos, along with tortilla chips, will be provided. Please bring a side dish (dip, vegetable, salad) or a dessert.
Join us as we welcome everyone back for Bible Studies, Sunday School, and Youth Group Kick-Off Weekend. This evening is not just about food and fun, but also about strengthening our bonds of fellowship with our brothers and sisters of Christ.
Following the meal, Pastor LaMie will lead a family devotion. Then, get ready for some fun with Candy Bingo. Everyone is encouraged to bring a candy bar of your choice for the winning prizes! Plus - weather permitting, we'll light up a bonfire for roasting marshmallows. It's a night packed with activities for young and old to enjoy! Please bring a lawn chair!
A signup sheet is available at Eagle Lake, Beecher, and online. This will help us plan food and any activities for everyone. If you have any questions, contact Debra Radtke or Lona Luebbe. We encourage everyone to sign up to assist us in preparing food. (Sharing the dish you plan to bring is a bonus!)

Senior Worship & Luncheon
Senior Worship – A Special Monthly Worship & Luncheon - Thursday, August 21st @ 11:00 am
We are encouraging everyone who is available to come to this special worship service and luncheon no matter what your age. A luncheon follows the communion service. This event is held on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Please join us at 11am for a time of worship and fellowship. Everyone Is Welcome!
Paint with Kate
Paint with Kate – Friday, August 15th
On Friday, August 15th at 6:30 PM Kate will host her next Paint with Kate class at the Beecher Campus. We will paint a dragonfly on canvas. A donation to the memorial garden will be made from the fees. The class is $25 per person.
